ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE DUE TO COVID-19

Yes, we are following the guidance of our local health department
to assure a safe event

 

1. Participants will start staggered by age groups as opposed to all at once

2. Masks are recommended before and after the run

3. All participants are asked to follow 6' social distancing whatever possible

4. Sanitation stations will be available throughout the race

 

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE?

A virtual race means that you commit to running or walking a certain distance (5 miles, 2 miles or ½ mile) in whatever location you choose from July 21-28. Run or walk on your own, with a friend, or with a group!

WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE?

Great question! Here are our top reasons to participate:

1. You will make a difference in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation!

2. 100% of your registration fee goes to support Fierce Freedom.

3. You will get a super-cool t-shirt that is ethically made

4. Because it will be FUN!

WHAT IS THE COST TO REGISTER?

Up to July 1:

$15 age 12 & under,
$25 age 13-adult,
$75 family of 4+*

 

After July 1:

$18 age 12 & under,
$28 age 13-adult,
$80 family of 4+*

 

*Family of 4+ discount applies to those living in the same household

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT?

To guarantee your t-shirt,
postmark registration by June 29 or register online by July 1. 

WILL PRIZES BE GIVEN?

For the in person event, prizes will be given for
the top 3 finishers in each category based on age:

Because times cannot be confirmed for the virtual event, a drawing will be held with the winners picking up their prize at the packet pick up.

 

HOW DOES PACKET PICKUP WORK?

Pick up your t-shirt and packet on Tuesday, July 20 from 4:30-7:30 pm at the Fierce Freedom office, 2519 N. Hillcrest Pkwy Ste 200, Altoona, WI, 54720. We will have drive-through and walk-up options available.

 

Virtual race participants can opt to have their t-shirt(s) shipped to them via the registration process. Shipping fees apply. Please note that t-shirt(s) may not arrive by race day. Please also note that the shipping option is only available through July 1st. 

 

 

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Refunds and deferrals will not be offered because the event is a fundraiser. You may, however, transfer your registration to another runner. Please email your request to matt@fiercefreedom.org
